Zach Steed grew up in Bowden, Georgia and now makes his home in Carrollton. He is the Executive Vice President of Steed Company, a company manufacturing printed fabric labels for the home textile and apparel industries. Zach has two children, Cali and Zane. Zach has been part of Bullsboro for most of his life. Zach’s hobbies other than music are golf, volunteer work and his family. He literally grew up with the band. His father, Mike Steed, began playing in Bullsboro when Zach was very young. Zach began playing shows with the band when he was fifteen years old. Zach sings lead, tenor, and high baritone parts. In addition to his vocal contributions, Zach anchors the band with solid rhythm guitar work. He also plays the mandolin, banjo, and upright bass. Zach is interested in almost all musical intruments and would like to play the piano, electric bass, electric guitar, and drums.

Zach has a long list of musical influences, beginning with two members of this band. He names his father, Mike Steed, as well as Donnie Lee as two of his biggest influences. Bill Monroe,Lester Flatt, The Stanley Brothers, Hank Williams, John Duffey, John Starling, Tony Rice, Ricky Skaggs, and local artist, Al Smith have also had a significant impact on Zach
