Jeff Partridge was born in Athens, Ga and currently lives in Fayetteville, GA. Jeff has three children, Andy, Diana, and Jordan. His hobbies other
than Bluegrass include computers, fly fishing and nascar.
Jeff plays the banjo in Bullsboro, but also plays guitar, bass, mandolin and fiddle. He sings all the parts, but he mainly focuses
on baritone and tenor. Jeff began playing Bluegrass in 1977 and names his uncle, Joe Partridge (original member of Bullsboro) as one of his biggest musical influences He also lists J.D. Crowe,
Terry Baucom, Doyle Lawson, Boone Creek and Brushfire as leaving a major impression on him. In the early 1980’s Jeff, along with Johnny Slaton, formed the band The
Bluegrass Engineers’s and played the local Bluegrass festival circuit. In 1986, Jeff joined Bullsboro. He played banjo and sang tenor for the band through 1989. In January of 2000, Jeff returned to Bullsboro.
Jeff is currently picking an Earl Scruggs model Gibson and has just purchased a Silver Angel Mandolin which he is very proud of.
